It opened as the first independent frozen food distributor in South Africa at the time primarily distributed products from I & J which at the time also distributed the Rainbow Product Brand. In 2002 it was inherited by his daughter MRS SR Maharaj whom is still the current owner. The business has grown and has become a strong family business that prides itself on its service and good relations with suppliers and customers. The company’s main channels are distribution and wholesaling of frozen products.
